This 1977 article by Howard Kohn adds further insight into the mob's
role in the JFK assassination. Particularly
interesting is Kohn's discovery that the very next day after HSCA
investigators made phone calls to try to locate
Charles Nicolletti, he was the victim of a gangland style murder.
Similar fates befell Johnny Roselli who was murdered shortly after
telling the Washington Post that the mob ordered
Jack Ruby to kill Oswald, and to Sam Giancana, just five days before
he was scheduled to appear before the Church
Committee which was looking mob connections to the CIA.
